Portable Vibration Calibrator AT-2040 is designed as an executive class calibrator for operators needing the absolute best equipment.

The AT-2040 Portable Vibration Calibrator features the ability to test all types of vibration sensors and transducers. While competing products may only feature velocity and voltage inputs, AT-2040 has inputs for nearly every type of sensor, including Charge (Piezoelectric) , 4-20mA, and Proximity Probe Sensitivity readings.

Featuring a built in charge amplifier and power supply, AT-2040 will provide built in positive 24 volt supply for 4-20mA input sensors and negative 24 volts for proximity probe drivers.

The built in power supply can also provide an adjustable 5 to 20 volts for 3 pin connectors needing external power. Accelerometers such as the Wilcoxon Research Model 991D Internally amplified, helicopter accelerometer, can connect 9 VDC power directly from the AT-2040.

In another example, the Bently Nevada 330400 and 330425 Accelerometer may use the proximity probe voltage source as a -24 connection, eliminating external equipment on 3 pin connections. This is all done through AT-2040’s superior design and requires absolutely no external meters or power supplies.

In addition to testing sensors, the AT-2040 can test and verify performance of vibration system meters and cabling by using a built in signal generator to simulate current or voltage at a range of 0.1hz to 11khz.

The simulation feature enables users to test equipment outside of the shakers normal operating range. Because the simulation mode is not restricted by the displacement of the shaker element and the accuracy of the reference accelerometer, simulation mode has a much larger amplitude and frequency range than a standard portable vibration calibrator. In simulation mode, you will also be simulating a perfect signal, making your system checks far more accurate.

This advanced system also features an automatic test mode to calibrate accelerometers without user interaction. Simply choose your sensor type and AT-2040 will sweep through the accelerometer frequency range while plotting its deviation on the color LCD screen. At the completion of your test the results will be saved in PDF format and can be exported to USB devices at any time.
