Accreditation scope
Our A2LA accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 covers the calibration of portable vibration calibrators by comparison with a standard accelerometer and DMM.

How long does recalibration take?
About one week in the lab is typical, plus shipping time each way. We confirm the timing with your return instructions.
Do you calibrate other brands of vibration calibrator?
Yes. We calibrate portable vibration calibrators and handheld shakers from other manufacturers, with the same accredited process we use for our own units, and adjust them where the instrument allows.
Is the calibration accredited?
Calibrations in our USA lab are accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by A2LA, within the scope shown above. The Singapore option provides NIST-traceable calibration.
Do you provide a loaner while my unit is away?
No, we don't offer loaners. Recalibration typically takes about a week in the lab, so plan it around your test schedule.
How often should a vibration calibrator be recalibrated?
Once a year is recommended, or sooner if your quality system requires it or the unit has been dropped or repaired.
How much does it cost?
Submit the return request and we'll confirm pricing before any work is done. Repairs are always quoted and approved first.
What happens to the battery?
For Agate calibrators, we replace the battery as needed during recalibration at no charge. The battery can only be replaced at the Agate factory.
