This male-to-male threaded stud adapter provides a 1/4-28 male thread on one side and a 10-32 male thread on the opposite side. It is used to mount accelerometers, vibration sensors, and related test hardware when the sensor thread and mounting surface require different thread sizes.

The adapter is commonly used in vibration calibration, sensor testing, and field setup applications where a 10-32 threaded sensor must be mounted to a 1/4-28 mounting location, or where a 1/4-28 sensor interface needs to adapt to a 10-32 connection.

The center collar helps prevent the stud from threading too deeply into the mounting surface or sensor, providing a controlled stop during installation and removal. Slotted ends allow for easier installation and removal with a flat-blade screwdriver.
