Chadwick-Helmuth Velocimeter Cable

This velocimeter adapter cable is designed to connect compatible 7310 and 8866-1 style velocimeter sensors to Agate shaker/calibrator systems through the 8-pin DIN connection.

The sensor side of the cable uses a 906-8719 style connector. This connector provides the required velocimeter connections for signal, ground, positive voltage, and negative voltage.

The shaker side uses an 8-pin DIN connector to interface with the Agate shaker/calibrator. This connection carries signal, ground, and external power from the shaker.

An inline voltage pump is built into the cable assembly. The voltage pump converts the positive voltage supplied by the shaker into the positive and negative voltage outputs required by the velocimeter sensor. This allows compatible velocimeter sensors to be powered and read through the shaker connection without requiring a separate external power supply.
