Short Handle Wrench

The short-handle reference accelerometer wrench is used with the calibration shaker to hold the reference accelerometer in place while tightening or removing a test transducer.

During sensor mounting, the test transducer can apply torque through the mounting stud and into the reference accelerometer. This wrench helps prevent the reference accelerometer from loosening, rotating, or transferring unwanted torque into the shaker mounting surface.

Made from stainless steel, the wrench is designed for repeated use in calibration and test environments. Its short-handle design provides control without excessive leverage, helping protect the shaker, reference accelerometer, and mounting hardware during setup changes.

Typical Use

Place the wrench over the reference accelerometer flats before tightening or removing the test transducer. Hold the reference accelerometer steady while the upper sensor or adapter is installed or removed.
